John Muir Trail, Le Conte Canyon, headed for Muir Pass, 1975. For this trip I wanted to shoot some black and white film. Since much of this trip was above timberline, I felt the stark landscape would be appropriately portrayed in black and white. Some of the black and white scenes from this trip can be compared with the color photos taken in the same area on the 1985 trip.
