Campsite on Colby Lake,1970. This is one of the most memorable campsites of all my High Sierra trips. The beauty of the site is truly magnificent. There were clouds at the end of this day and I thought it might rain that night (notice the black plastic tube tents - but we were lucky, no rain, in fact, no rain for entire trip). You can see Vic La Favre seated on a rock.
